The funny thing about BXO is, even when you think it’s healed, it’s never really healed.
All it takes is a few days of carelessness and you can be back in the danger zone, maybe with a slightly inflamed glans or itchy foreskin.
I noticed this recently when I was on a trip and didn’t manage to take a proper shower for a few days. One night I actually came in from swimming in the ocean and collapsed on the bed and fell asleep, no shower or anything.
And for those few days we didn’t have a hot shower available, so I just took some very quick cold showers.
Of course, when I got back home, I noticed a lot of smegma and some inflammation under the foreskin.
This leads me to believe that once we’ve become sensitive to balantis XO, we never truly lose that sensitivity.
In this situation, I just gave it a good clean, put some steroid cream on it, and then spent a few days of giving it “intensive care”. That usually involves keeping the foreskin retracted at all times and keeping it extremely dry at all times.
Within a day or two it was completely back to normal.
But this also tells you how fast things can get out of control again. Remember, for many of us, this kind of balantis xo build up happens over many years, maybe even decades, before we realize it’s not normal and/or we need to actually do something about it.
I guess what I’m trying to say is, balantis xo can do a lot of damage to your manhood (both physically and emotionally), but that damage has been building up over a lot of time. It’s also going to take a lot of time to undo it and bring it to health again.
That means your mentality is important, your attitude is important. Slow and steady wins the race.
Just keep going.
